What the Seedream API can do
Seedream 5 Pro generates a single image from text or from up to ten reference images. Use it for photoreal output and style control. Layer decomposition, sequential generation and streaming are not enabled.
How to integrate Seedream
POST /api/v3/images/generations with a Bearer Key and a unique Idempotency-Key. To accept a durable background task immediately, send the async header documented in the API reference, then poll GET /api/v3/tasks/:id.
Ordinary Seedream image references follow the image protocol and provider content policies. They do not use the Seedance portrait-enrollment flow or Ark library asset IDs.
Seedream API pricing
A successful image costs $0.045 up to 2.61 MP and $0.09 above that. The first input image is free; each additional input image is $0.003. Your agreed factor applies to these catalog units.
