A settlement example, not a per-second promise

Illustrative arithmetic: if your locked video rate is $10 per million completion tokens and the provider reports 250,000 completion tokens, the charge is $2.50. The $10 rate is an example, not a published Seedance price or your agreed rate. Use the catalog row and your account rate for a real task.

Draft and Final have separate task IDs, usage and locked price rows. Total production cost is the sum of both actual charges. If the original Draft used an input video, Final inherits that fact; the Draft output is not a second chargeable input-video reference.

An output can be ready while settlement is pending. Reservations remain until usage is trustworthy; a timeout or lost response does not justify a guessed bill, an automatic refund or another paid generation.

How your rates are calculated

Agreed unit rate = official standard unit rate × your agreed pricing factor. Each accepted task locks this rate. Supplier promotions do not automatically change your agreed price.

What is actually billed

• Video: actual completion_tokens, at the ModelArk USD-per-million-token rate for your resolution, input-video facts and Draft/Final mode. Not a fixed per-second quote.
• Image: $0.045 for a successful image up to 2.61 MP; $0.09 above it. The first input image is free; each additional input image is $0.003.
• Audio: $0.0025 per actual original_duration second. Playback duration after changing speech rate is not the billing unit.
• New tasks lock the catalog and your agreed pricing factor. Rate changes apply to future tasks, including spending existing balance, not accepted tasks.
• Reservations are not charges. Audio reserves up to 120 original seconds; verified actual usage releases the difference. Missing usage remains pending settlement.
